Dr. Frank Donaruma

HISTORY

Dr. Frank Donaruma is a 1974 graduate of Piscataway High School in Piscataway, NJ. Following high school he served in the United States Air Force for four years as a Physiological Training Specialist. His job was to teach pilots the physiological effects to their bodies at high altitude. In 1978, after an Honorable Discharge from the USAF, he attended Edison College in Ft Myers, Fl. and graduated with honors (Phi Thetta Kappa) with an Associated of Arts degree. Upon completion of his A.A. degree in 1980, Dr. Frank enrolled at Life Chiropractic College in Marietta, Ga. and received his Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 1984. After successfully passing the NJ State Licensing Board, he worked for five years as an associate doctor at Allied Chiropractic Center in So. Plainfield, NJ. Using this time to hone his skills in the real world, he had the opportunity to administer over 65,000 adjustment to patients with various illnesses. In 1991 he formed a partnership in with Dr. Bill Ripley, who had been practicing for over 40 years, and Chiro+Merge Chiropractic Center was born.

CHIROPRACTIC

Dr. Frank is a Subluxation-Based Chiropractor and utilizes many techniques in his practice because he realizes that every person he serves is a unique individual and deserves the best care based on their specific needs. Among the techniques Dr. Frank uses are Diversified, Thompson, Activator, Cox, Toggle Recoil, Applied Kinesiology, Tonal, and S.O.T. In addition, Dr. Frank incorporates the latest diagnostic subluxation imaging tools, which include on-sight X-rays as well as the Insight Millennium Subluxation Station, which diagnoses and documents the health of the central nervous system.

Dr. Frank routinely attends continuing education seminars on the latest innovations in chiropractic technique and philosophy, as well as, being a member of several national and chiropractic organizations.

Dr. Frank is also a Certified Health Minister in nutritional counseling and lectures throughout the tri-state area on nutritional healing as well as chiropractic and other health topics.

FAMILY

Dr. Frank considers himself to be a family man. He has been married for 34 years and considers his wife, Cathey, to be his best friend. He has three sons, Frank, Jim , and Joe , who have all been living the chiropractic lifestyle their whole lives. In addition, 3 daughter-in-laws, Tina, Eileen and Lindsay as well as 5 grandchildren, Juliana, Kayla, Franky, Jimmy and Ruby living the chiropractic lifestyle as well. Dr. Frank is also an Elder in his church and is very involved in church activities.

PHILOSOPHY

Dr. Frank’s philosophy is quite simple, a healthy life is a life of balance. He believes that a person who is physically, emotionally, and spiritually balanced has the best chance of living life to their full potential. Ignoring any one of these aspects will have an adverse effect on living a long and healthy life free from “dis-ease”. Therefore, Dr. Frank is dedicated to educating and coaching his patients, as well as their families and friends, not just on “how to feel good”, but on the essential keys to a healthy and vibrant life.
